The Cyber Safety Awareness Toolkit

The Cyber Safety Awareness Toolkit was developed in partnership with the University of South Africa (Unisa), the British High Commission and the Department of Communication and Digital Technologies (DCDT). The Toolkit consists of a workbook, a guide, posters, cartoons, videos, a pledge and more to assist South African teachers and learners to become responsible cyber citizens. 
The Toolkit also includes two documents for school governing bodies and principals that will assist with the governance of cyber safety within schools. The Toolkit was developed by South Africans for South Africans to improve overall cyber safety awareness within South African schools. The toolkit is free and can be viewed at and downloaded from the this site.

Translations

A number of the documents within the Toolkit have been translated into various South African languages to address the language barriers in schools. Among the languages represented are IsiZulu, Sesotho, Venda,  Afrikaans and Xhosa.
